The 4th Philippine Ecotourism 101 held last March 21-23 at The Oriental Hotel in Palo, Leyte was a huge success with 163 delegates participating from 83 local government units, provincial government offices, DOT and DENR regional and local offices and the private sector. There were attendees coming from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
Delegates expressed their interest and appreciation of the information they learned including the concepts, tools, methodologies and strategies which they can use to start planning for their ecotourism products.
